Review For: Dr. Robert Elam DDS

I suffered a broken molar last week, and was in a bit of a panic about it because my regular (and now former) dentist couldn't fit me into his schedule soon enough. Based on the Google reviews I read, I called Dentistry of Nashville and Dr. Elam agreed to see me the first thing the next morning. Dr. Elam examined my tooth, told me what needed to be done to fix it, and reassured me that my molar was in no serious danger. Unfortunately, his practice is out-of-network for my dental insurance, and I needed to find an in-network dentist to repair the tooth. I offered to pay Dr. Elam for the exam, but he simply told me 'no charge, call us if we can be of any more help' and sent me on my way. I did find another excellent dentist to fix the tooth (that's a different review), but I was very impressed both by the practice (very modern facility and equipment, excellent staff, and the sort of good 'vibe' you get from a well-run medical practice) and by Dr. Elam himself. So while my experience with Dentistry of Nashville was very limited, what I saw really impressed me. If my insurance situation was different, I would not hesitate to return to them.

I had a procedure called a Frenectomy done a little over a week ago. It's basically where the attachment under your tongue or the inside of your lower lip needs to be removed. In my case it was under my tongue. The procedure took all of 10 minutes, including the small injection under my tongue. A laser was used to remove the frenum. I was so surprised at how quick and painless it was! When the numbness went away it was a little sore to move my tongue for several days, but nothing Advil didn't take care of! I have been treated by ALL of the doctors in this office at one time or another, and you can't go wrong with any of them! First class treatment is what you'll get at Dentistry of Nashville!

Best dentist I've enjoyed in 30 years I was most impressed by the courteous and professional staff. The office was nice, and a convenient location as well. I was amazed at the computer screen technology that showed my teeth while they answered all my questions. I have returned to several cleanings and had old filling replaced with hardly any pain at all. Thanks to all that work there providing great service for something that most people don't want to deal with.

Dr. Fleming has been my dentist for 12 years. During that time my family and I have received outstanding care. Dr. Fleming has an excellent manner and I'm often laughing in the chair while having my dental work done. My children love him as well. For anyone looking for a dentist, I highly recommend him.

Best Dentists EVER!!! Dr. Vaughan has been my dentist for 18 years! Every time I have an appointment, they offer me refreshments, and provide a clean and well designed environment for my family and I. After cleaning my daughters teeth, they gave her 5 stickers and a handful of small toys from the 'treasure box'' behind the front desk! I always feel at home with their friendly staff and variety of magazines. If your looking for quick and efficent service in the best part of town call 615-383-3690. BEST IN NASHVILLE! I have been a patient of Dr Michael Vaughan's for over 8 years now. From the cleanings with the hygienist to the fillings I have been completely satisfied! Recently Dr Vaughan did 8 porcelain veneers on my front teeth. I was IV sedated for my upper cosmetic work and it was great! I went to sleep and when I woke up, my teeth were straight, white, and perfect! My husband and 7 yr old daughter also see Dr Vaughan. This office is top notch, professional, and up to date on the latest technology. I would recommend Dr Vaughan to anyone!
